About Pink Season.

Pink Season is Asia's largest LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex) festival, taking place over several weeks. Prior to Pink Season, individual organisations were doing their own thing, without any clear connection to each other. With Pink Season, these events are consolidated into a 4-7 week celebration.

This year's Pink Season also draw upon a youthful component to attract participation from younger attendees.

Pink Season History.

When did Pink Season start?

Pink Season started in 2011 for different reasons... That year, there was no Pride parade and Pink Alliance wanted something to be in its place. Pink Season was also used to promote the activities of the Pink Alliance to the Hong Kong tourism board.

History

How much have we grown?

Pink Season has been run by different volunteers over the years and changed each time. From a small lineup of events, we have now expanded to more than 30 events each year.

History

Our goals for this year:

We will be amping up our best-selling events from years past (the sports day, the urban race and Out in the Open). This year, we are also aiming to have a larger focus on family and education.
